Lincoln City Police are seeking information about two suspects who allegedly stole over $1,800 from Game Over Arcade Sunday night.
Shortly before closing at 9 p.m., a man can be seen on Game Over’s security cameras breaking into one of the arcade’s change machines. The machine held approximately $1,800 in cash.
Outside surveillance cameras show a vehicle believed to belong to the suspects in the parking lot and police would like any information on the white early 2000s SUV. It may be a Yukon, Suburban or Tahoe. Notably, one of the windows is covered with duct tape on the passenger side.
Game Over Arcade Owner Christopher Donner is offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest.
“I’ll personally give $500 to whoever can identify these criminals to see justice done,” he said.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact Lincoln City Police Officer Jarett Villafane at 541-994-3636.
Dude take that $500 and BUY YOURSELF A BETTER CAMERA. That way when you get robbed, you don’t need to beg for snitches.
hate to say it, but maybe you need a different security company taking care of those cameras.
It unfortunately, seems to the norm for security camera footage, blurry,
low resolution and worthless, my trail cameras take better pictures.
I do have a comment about vehicle windows. Cars with tinted windows,so dark
you can’t see in, should be illegal, and stopped for presumable criminal activity,
as well as people who drive around with tape over their windows, criminals,
while often times the recipients of dumb luck, are basically stupid.
Perhaps some more proactive stops would ferret out these individuals.
Game Over is the only spots in LC where you can go in the cold rainy winter with your kids to get that cabin fever relief. We try to come in once per week to support a family oriented establishment. Praying they catch those LOSERS.
the local company “Iconipro” installed that places cameras. starting to see a trend.
