National Weather Service Portland (NWS) has issued a High Wind Warning Tuesday from seven a.m. until three p.m. for the Central Oregon Coast.
Winds are blowing in Lincoln City at 5 a.m. and are expected to gust up to 70 mph near beaches and headlands. Areas away from beaches and headlands will see 45-55 mph gusts. Strongest winds are expected in the morning hours.
Lincoln City, Newport, Yachats, Florence and Cape Foulweather are listed in the warning.
NWS says damaging winds may blow down trees and power lines and travel will be difficult for high-profile vehicles. People should avoid being outside in forested areas and if possible, remain in the lower levels of your home and avoid windows.

Can I promote my storm damage repair business here?
That’s a joke. Maybe.
Vey windy, after the fires, though, we are prepared for all consistencies.
