The Oregon Department of Human Services will be bumping families on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) up to the maximum benefit along with a 15 percent additional increase this month.

SNAP recipients receiving less than the maximum allotment will see their EBT cards automatically reflecting the additional money depending on their family size for February.

DHS said a temporary increase of 15 percent for all SNAP recipients will also be directly deposited on EBT cards this month due to “Oregonians struggling as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The increased benefits will be as follows:

Household Size Maximum Monthly Benefit Amount Benefit amount with 15% increase
1 $204 $234
2 $374 $430
3 $535 $615
4 $680 $782
5 $807 $929
6 $969 $1,114
7 $1,071 $1,232
8 $1,224 $1,408
Each additional person $153 $176

The extra food money will be issued Feb. 10 and Feb. 25.

Contact a local DHS office for more information about SNAP.

  1. Any of you po folk missing TRUMP yet?
Just wait, food stamps will be replaced with soup lines. Biden is on a roll. Our state wants to keep you beholding. Oregon will keep you on a short string.

  2. Ha. My druggie neighbor openly shows off his stack of fraudulent food stamp cards and trades the food on them for dope. I’ve reported him TWICE. I wonder if they will just keep looking the other way. In California they only had TWO workers to filter out fraudulent unemployment applications and they lost 2 BILLION to fraudsters. We literally live in a culture of corruption.
