LOWER NEHALEM AND WILSON IN TILLAMOOK COUNTY…THE SILETZ IN
LINCOLN COUNTY…THE UPPER TUALATIN IN WASHINGTON COUNTY…THE
LUCKIAMUTE RIVER IN POLK COUNTY…AND THE MARYS IN BENTON
COUNTY. IF FLOODING OCCURS…IT IS EXPECTED TO BE MINOR…
PRIMARILY IMPACTING FIELDS AND LOW-LYING PROPERTY AND
SECONDARY ROADS VULNERABLE TO FLOODING IN LOW AREAS.

PEOPLE…STRUCTURES AND ROADS LOCATED BELOW STEEP SLOPES…IN CANYONS AND NEAR THE MOUTHS OF CANYONS MAY BE AT SERIOUS RISK FROM RAPIDLY MOVING LANDSLIDES. MORNING. A HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON
THROUGH THIS EVENING.

* THROUGH THIS MORNING: SOUTH WIND 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO
60 MPH ACROSS THE MORE EXPOSED BEACHES AND HEADLANDS. WIND WILL
DIMINISH FROM SOUTH TO NORTH MID TO LATE THIS MORNING.

* LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THE EVENING: SOUTH WIND WILL
INCREASE FROM SOUTH TO NORTH LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND PEAK THIS
EVENING. THERE REMAINS A GOOD DEAL OF UNCERTAINTY REGARDING WIND
GUSTS POTENTIAL. GUSTS ARE LIKELY TO TOP OUT IN THE 50 TO 60 MPH
RANGE…BUT THERE IS SOME POTENTIAL FOR 60 TO 70 MPH GUSTS. THE
STRONGEST WIND WILL BE ALONG THE MOST EXPOSED BEACHES AND
HEADLANDS.

* IMPACTS: WINDS MAY PRODUCE SPOTTY POWER OUTAGES AND DAMAGE
ANY UNSECURED OBJECTS LIKE DECK PATIO AND CONSTRUCTION
SCAFFOLDING.
