Taft wins first match, falls to host Willamina in elimination game

The Taft High volleyball team saw its season come to an end Saturday in a three-set loss to host Willamina in the Coastal Range League playoffs.

The Tigers fell 25-17, 25-22, 25-13 to the Bulldogs after defeating Rainier for the third time this season earlier in the day.

Willamina will face regular-season league champion Warrenton in a seeding game for State.
