National Weather Service Portland issued a High Wind Watch from Tuesday night through Wednesday morning with gusts up to 60 mph possible.
Starting at 8 p.m. Tuesday, NWS predicts south winds 25-35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph near beaches and headlands.
The Central Oregon Coast could see damaging winds that can blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are possible and travel might be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.
Additionally, NWS issued another warning for possible icy roads tonight.
These “high” winds won’t prevent me from comparing Dominos pizza to
the pizza I had in Napoli- that’s in Italy.
I know one thing about the wind situation around here- we never ever never
have a power outage during a windstorm. Do you know what I mean? The power
will go out sometime later in the week when the sun is shining and birds are
singing and doing bird stuff. That’s when the power goes out- when you least
expect it, not when it might be exciting and we could actually have a use for some of our end of civilization stuff, my candles all have dust on them.
