National Weather Service Portland issued a dense fog advisory at 11:51 p.m. Monday night, lasting until 9 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Visibility one-quarter of a mile or less could cause hazardous driving conditions in Lincoln City, Newport, Cape Foulweather, Yachats and Florence.

NWS advises drivers to slow down, use headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of your vehicle.
