The deceased body believed to be that of missing person Cameron Shelden has a .45-caliber bullet wound, and a matching-caliber semi-automatic handgun and shell casing were located where the body was found.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, it was determined Shelden, a 37-year-old Seattle-area railroad engineer, suffered a gunshot to the head consistent with a .45 caliber bullet. Due to the advanced state of decomposition, the Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office is continuing the examination.
The deceased subject was located Tuesday on property by its owner on Widow Creek Road in Otis and presumed to be the remains of Shelden. Positive identification is still being determined as the death investigation continues.

A bullet in her head by her gun……the gun she always had on her. Cameron would get off the train and drive hours to her…we can’t have guns on property per federal law.
We can’t? Maybe YOU can’t…
Ummm. I’m sorry…but how did the cadaver dogs, searchers, contracted excavators, drones, and law enforcement miss a decomposing body with a gun for 2 weeks before Bagby “found” him? And why has this story been white washed to exclude the anonymous tip called into OSP, the correctional officer living on a Bagby’s property, and that the body was found in a previously excavated mound? This reeks of a cover up.
Lisa posted on FB that they didn’t need to raise money to find Cameron, instead the money should go to a children’s behalf, or something. Sounds like she didn’t want anyone to find him, to me.
