Three candidates will run for Mayor and eight will vie for council positions Nov. 6 in the general election, according to a news release issued Thursday, Aug. 30.
The Mayor's position on Council as well as three council seats in wards 1, 2 and 3, have terms that will expire on December 31, 2018. An election for these positions will be on the General Election Ballot for November 6, 2018.
If they do get elected I have no doubt in my mind that they will tackle the problem of affordable housing and the city will benefit greatly when the dust settles.
