County Commissioner Claire Hall is the best thing that has happened to Lincoln County.

Lincoln County Commissioner Claire Hall has dedicated her life to the public – first as a newspaper and radio journalist, and currently as a four-term county commissioner.

I continue to be amazed at her work ethic, her dedication to this community and her availability when a constituent wants to meet with her.

I have known Claire Hall for over thirty years. We met in the late 1980s while she was a broadcast journalist and I was a deputy district attorney for Lincoln County.

Local media has done a great job of covering COVID-19, so I’m not going to go over things in detail. I thought some people might be interested in hearing about what’s life like at the center of the storm.

These are truly difficult times for Lincoln County, the United States and the world.
