Criminal Mischief - 12:39 p.m. - Snack Attack  - Front door of business shattered. Caller also had phone messages complaining about business not being open at 11 a.m.

California man threatens to stab Newport Loyalty Days crowd

Michael Scott Garrett, 34, of Berkeley, Calif., told a crowd he was going to stab each one of them in the head Saturday at Newport's Loyalty Days & Sea Fair Festival.

Lincoln City woman arrested after short vehicle, foot pursuit

Shannon Uretta Thomas, 33, of Lincoln City was arrested by Lincoln City Police early Tuesday morning following a short vehicle and foot pursuit.

Lincoln City man flees officers, arrested on outstanding warrant, escape charge

A Lincoln City man trying to flee from police was apprehended and arrested on a misdemeanor warrant Wednesday for failure to appear on a theft charge.

Canadian citizen caught at sea with alleged intent to distribute meth

A criminal complaint was filed today in federal court alleging Canadian citizen John Phillip Stirling, 65, illegally possessed, with intent to distribute, methamphetamine aboard a U.S. flagged vessel.

Tillamook residents die in apparent murder-suicide in South Beach campground

Lincoln County Sheriff's deputies found two Tillamook residents dead from apparent gunshot wounds upon making a welfare check last week in a campground near Newport.
