Damaged properties may get adjustments on property tax bill

    News release- January 19, 2024 –

    The Lincoln County Assessor and Tax Collector wish to make property owners aware of potential adjustments to property tax bills as a result of damage from the January winter storm.
    Property owners who experienced damage or destruction resulting in a loss of real
    market value can apply to have their property reassessed, which may result in an
    adjustment to property taxes owed or already paid.

    Property owners are encouraged to contact the Assessor’s Office and/or the Tax
    Collector’s Office for more information.
